Jay P. Leupp is an Executive Vice President of Grubb & Ellis Co., and President
and Chief Executive Officer of its subsidiary, Grubb & Ellis Alesco Global
Advisors, which he founded in 2005. Mr. Leupp serves as Portfolio Manager of
Grubb & Ellis AGA's funds. Previously, he was Managing Director of real estate
equity research at RBC Capital Markets from 2002 to 2006 and oversaw a five-
person equity research team. Prior to joining RBC, Mr. Leupp served as Managing
Director of real estate equity research at Robertson Stephens & Co. Inc., an
investment banking firm where he founded the real estate equity research group
in 1994. From 1991 to 1994, he served as Vice President of the Staubach Company,
specializing in the leasing, acquisition and financing of commercial real
estate. From 1989 to 1991, he also served as a Development Manager with Trammell
Crow Residential, the nation's largest developer of multi-family housing. He
holds a bachelor's degree from Santa Clara University and an MBA from Harvard
