David Stockert is President and Chief Executive Officer of Post Properties Inc. Before that, he was the company's President and Chief Operating Officer. He joined Post in 2001. Previously, he served as a Senior Executive Officer in two other public real estate investment trusts. In addition, Mr. Stockert's career includes investment banking and public accounting. He sits on the boards of directors of the Buckhead Coalition, Metro Atlanta Chamber, Citizens for Transportation Mobility, National Multi Housing Council, Metro Atlanta YMCA, Central Atlanta Progress, Inc., and SafeHouse Outreach. He also serves on the government affairs committee of the Atlanta Apartment Association. Mr. Stockert is the past-Chairman of Holy Innocents' Episcopal School and is past-Senior Warden of Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church. Profile
