Jeremy W. Devaney was named Vice President and Senior Research Analyst of BB&T Capital Markets’ defense technology coverage in May 2011. He joined the equity research team at BB&T Capital in December 2007 as an Associate Analyst in the defense/government services sector. Before that, he was an Associate Analyst and Research Liaison with the private client equity strategy group at Scott & Stringfellow. A 2006 graduate of BB&T’s leadership development program, Mr. Devaney began his career at BB&T as a Sales Assistant at the firm’s Scott & Stringfellow branch in Charleston, S.C. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the College of Charleston. Mr. Devaney is a Member of the National Defense Industrial Association, Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association International, United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation, Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International, and Northern Virginia Technology Council.
