PAUL KELLY is one of the co-Founders of Gemini Gemomics Plc and has served as Chief Executive Officer since January 1997. He originally trained in Medicine at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, where he received his MBBS in 1983. He then trained as a Physician, specializing in Endocrinology, at St. Vincents Hospital, Sydney, and received his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 1990. He was awarded a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of New South Wales in 1990, with his thesis on the genetics of osteoporosis. He has held academic positions at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of New South Wales and has published over 80 scientific papers and has contributed to a number of books and other publications, particularly in the genetic epidemiology of osteoporosis, obesity and insulin resistance syndrome. He is the co-inventor of a patent relating to vitamin-D receptor alleles and osteoporosis susceptibility. Profile
TWST: Could we start out with a quick update on the company, a little overview and whats going on?
Dr. Kelly: Its been a very exciting six to nine months for the company since our IPO.
