PAUL BERTIN is a business visionary and President and CEO of
Burntsand Inc. An accomplished and compelling speaker, his topics
surrounding the effects of the new business economy on the global
business scene are of great interest to audiences of business
executives and senior government officials across Canada and the
United States. Prior to joining Burntsand, Mr. Bertin was
President and Chief Operating Officer of Integrated Network
Services Inc. (INSINC), Canada's leading wide area network
integration company. After INSINC merged with Sprint Canada Inc.
in December 1994, Mr. Bertin became President of the Business
Services Group. He has held other senior management positions in
a 25-year career in the information technology industry. He was
responsible for marketing, operations and field management of
such companies as ComputerLand and General DataComm Ltd. Mr.
Bertin holds current board memberships with Burntsand, Sunnybrook
and Women's College Health Science Centre, the Orthopedic and
Arthritic Corporation and the Orthopedic and Arthritic Hospital
Foundation. He is also a member of the Young Presidents'
Organization. Mr. Bertin holds a Bachelor of Education from the
University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts from York
