PATRICIA A. BANNAN joined the Evergreen Investment Management Company in
1999 where she serves as Managing Director and Head of the Large Cap
Core Growth team in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to leading this
team, she is Senior Portfolio Manager of the Evergreen Balanced Fund,
the Evergreen Blue Chip Fund, the Evergreen Core Equity Fund, the
Evergreen Premier 20 Fund and the domestic portion of the Evergreen
Global Leaders Fund. Ms. Bannan brings to her position over 20 years of
investment experience. Prior to her association with Evergreen
Investments, she was a Senior Vice President and Head of North American
Equities at CGU Investment Management Corporation, Managing Director and
Portfolio Manager at Prudential Investments, and President and Senior
Portfolio Manager of Phoenix Investment Counsel. Ms. Bannan earned a BS

CATHY BECKER is Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Evergreen
Investment Management Company in Boston, Massachusetts. She joined the
firm in 1998. As a portfolio Manager within the Large Cap Core Growth
Team, Ms. Becker manages the Evergreen Premier 20 Fund. Additionally,
she is responsible for the analysis of a number of healthcare sectors,
including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical devices. Ms. Becker
brings to her position more than 20 years of investment experience.
Prior to her association with Evergreen Investments, she was a Managing
Director and Portfolio Manager with Ashford Capital Management. Ms.
Becker earned a BS degree in Business Administration from the University
