Sean P. Butson has been with Legg Mason for seven years and currently
covers the media and broadcasting industries. From 1997-2002, he covered
the wireless services and tower industries and finished number one in
the 2002 Wall Street Journal stock picking contest for his coverage of
wireless services. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Portfolio Manager
in Bank of America's Corporate Banking Group, where he provided
financing to telecom and technology companies. Mr. Butson is a Chartered
Financial Analyst and a member of the Baltimore Security Analysts
Society. He has a BS in Finance from the University of Maryland and a BA
