KATHLEEN HEANEY is a Senior Vice President and Co-Head of
Research at Brean Murray & Co. Prior to Brean Murray, Ms. Heaney
was a Research Analyst at BlueStone Capital Securities. Through
most of the 1990s she was a Vice President, Head of the Latin
America Research Group at BT Alex. Brown and provided research on
the global supermarket sector. Prior to BT Alex. Brown, Ms.
Heaney was a Managing Director and Head of Research at Serfin
Securities, Inc., one of the largest Mexican brokerage firms. She
has also worked as a Research Analyst at Arnhold & S.
Bleischroeder, The Nikko Securities Company and Furman Selz,
covering the consumer sector. Ms. Heaney has been ranked number
one in the Greenwich Survey, Latin Finance poll and was a runner-
up in the Institutional Investor poll. She received a BS in
Finance from Long Island University and is an MA candidate in
