Matt Snowling joined FBR's financial services research group in January
1999. Mr. Snowling's professional accounting background served him well
as a research analyst covering government-sponsored enterprises, super-
regional banks and money-center banks. In 2003, he was chosen to
spearhead FBR's coverage of investment services companies. Prior to
joining FBR, Mr. Snowling worked at USF&G Insurance, specializing in tax
issues for the company's investment properties. Prior to that, he worked
for three years as a senior accountant for the National Retail
Federation. He received his MBA and his BS in Accounting from the
University of Maryland. He is a CPA and has received the CFA
designation. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants and Association for Investment Management and

TWST: What's within the investment services area and what do you includein your coverage?
Mr. Snowling: We broadly define investment services as the asset
managers and the online brokers.
