DAVID ADELMAN is a Principal at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, where he
follows the tobacco industry. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics
with Honors and an MBA in Finance and Business Policy from the
University of Chicago. He has testified before the Senate Judiciary
Committee regarding national tobacco policy, and has been a frequent
