STEVE RUGGIERO joined CRT Capital Group LLC in 2004 after spending two
years as co-Head of Global Fixed Income Research at UBS Securities.
Prior to UBS, he spent six years at JP Morgan/Chase as Global Head of
High Yield Research and five years at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette as
Head of High Yield Research. Mr. Ruggiero has been an active research
analyst through the great majority of his career, having attained
Institutional Investor rankings in four sectors during his tenure at DJL
and JP Morgan/Chase: gaming, supermarkets, consumer products, and food
and beverage. Mr. Ruggiero graduated from Middlebury College in 1981
with a BA in Economics and New York University's Stern School of
