Matthew Kelley joined Sterne Agee & Leach, Inc., as a Senior Research Analyst focusing on Northeast banks and thrifts in February 2006, after working as an Analyst at Moors & Cabot since 2002. Prior to Moors & Cabot, he was part of the Northeast bank and thrift research team for RBC Capital Markets, formerly Tucker Anthony. In 2010 he was recognized as the number-three stock picker in thrifts & mortgage finance in the Financial Times/StarMine Analyst Awards. In 2013 he was recognized as the number-two stock picker in thrifts & mortgage finance in the Financial Times/StarMine Analyst Awards.
