NEIL MURDOCH has been Executive Vice President and Portfolio
Manager with AIC Limited since January 1994. As one of the
principals of the business, he has been instrumental in the
growth of AIC. Mr. Murdoch's primary portfolio responsibilities
include AIC World Equity Fund, AIC World Advantage Fund, AIC
Global Advance Fund, AIC Global Diversified Fund and AIC Value
Fund. Prior to joining the firm, he spent seven years with the
corporate finance group of Price Waterhouse. Mr. Murdoch led
privatization teams in many emerging markets including Southeast
Asia, Africa and the former Soviet Union. He also worked as a
financial advisor in a number of large American bankruptcy cases
during the 1980s, and practiced law in Toronto prior to joining
Price Waterhouse. Mr. Murdoch earned a Bachelor of Commerce
degree from McGill University and a Bachelor of Law degree from
the University of Toronto. He completed his formal education with
a Master of Management degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of
Management at Northwestern University. Mr. Murdoch earned the
designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Profile
