NEAL WADDINGTON is President and Chief Executive Officer of JNI
Corporation', a leading designer and supplier of Fibre Channel hardware
and software products. In this role, Mr. Waddington is responsible for
the execution of JNI's business strategy and operations plan. Prior to
joining JNI, Mr. Waddington was with Quantum Corporation from 1997 to
2000. There he served as Chief Operating Officer of ATL Products, a
Quantum Company. In his role as COO, he was directly responsible for the
sales, marketing, engineering, service, support and manufacturing
operations. Prior to this, Mr. Waddington was President and CEO of
Expersoft, a middleware firm formerly based in San Diego, Calif., from
1996-1997. Mr. Waddington also served as Senior Vice President and
General Manager for EMC Corporation's Open Systems Division from 1994 to
1996. In this role, he was responsible for developing EMC's open systems
strategy and the successful launch of Symmetrix into that marketplace.
Prior to this, Mr. Waddington was Vice President and General Manager of
Tandem's Integrity Systems Division, overseeing what was then Tandem's
fastest growing business, from 1992-1994. Prior to this, Mr. Waddington
worked as Vice President, Marketing; and Vice President and General
Manager, Entry Systems Operations, at Sequent Computer Systems, from
1990-1991. There he was responsible for a 150-person marketing staff,
including product, services, channel, technical and industry marketing,
strategic planning, business plan development and corporate
communications. Mr. Waddington began his career with Sperry Computer
Systems, which later became Unisys Corporation. He started there as a
programmer, eventually becoming Vice President and General Manager of
the company's Personal Workstation Group. Mr. Waddington holds a
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Master's degree in Computer
