MICHELINE BOUCHARD is President and Chief Executive Officer of
ART Advanced Research Technologies Inc. For the past 25 years,
Ms. Bouchard has acquired extensive experience in the information
technology, communications and engineering fields. Ms. Bouchard
held until recently a management position at the head office of
Motorola, Inc. located in Chicago. In this capacity, she led
worldwide operations for Motorola's Wireless Internet Data
Solutions operations. From 1998 to 2000, she acted as Chairman,
President and Chief Executive Officer of Motorola Canada Limited,
a company generating in 2000 more than US$1.6 billion in sales.
Prior to 1998, she held numerous positions such as Vice
President, Business Development Canada for Hewlett-Packard
(Canada) Ltd.; Vice President, Business Development, and Vice
President, Marketing for DMR Group, a major information
technology consulting firm (IT); and Vice President, Management
Consulting Services at CGI Group, also an IT consulting and
system integration firm. Ms. Bouchard began her career at Hydro-
Qubec, where she held a number of senior management positions.
She was responsible for marketing and sales to large industrial
customers and acted as Assistant to the President and Chief
Executive Officer, and Assistant Vice President, Communications.
Ms. Bouchard was President of the Order of Engineers of Qubec
for two years; President of the Canadian Council of Professional
Engineers, an organization that represents over 180,000 engineers
in Canada (1992-1993) and President of the Canadian Academy of
Engineering, a very distinguished organization representing 250
prominent Canadian engineers (2001). Ms. Bouchard holds a
Bachelor's degree in Physics Engineering and a Master's degree in
Electrical Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique of Montral. Profile
