MICHELE A. WARD is Executive Vice President and Senior Investment
Officer of Retirement System Investors (RSInvestors) which
manages over $800 million of equity and fixed income mutual fund
assets. RSInvestors started in the money management business in
1983 and is a subsidiary of the New York City-based Retirement
System Group (RSGroup). Ms. Ward joined RSInvestors and assumed
management of the RSI Retirement Trust Core Equity Fund in June
2002. She joined Jim Coughlin as co-Portfolio Manager of the
Enterprise Growth & Income Fund and the Enterprise Accumulation
Trust Growth & Income Fund in November 2002. Prior to joining the
company, she spent nine years at Columbus Circle Investors of
Stamford, Connecticut. She began her career at Columbus Circle as
an Analyst covering retailers, aerospace and defense
corporations, and industrial concerns. As Senior Analyst on the
firm's Core accounts, she added coverage of healthcare and
technology sectors as well as the remainder of the consumer
sector. In December 2000, she was named Managing Director and
Portfolio Manager of the firm's Mid Cap product. She began her
career at Greenwich Associates, the financial services consulting
and research firm. She served there as an Analyst, Director of
Research, and consultant to the firm's commercial bank clients. A
magna cum laude graduate of Yale University, she holds a Bachelor
of Arts degree with distinction in Political Science. She
received a Master of Public and Private Management from Yale's
School of Management. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a
member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts. Profile
