MICHAEL V. PAPPAGALLO is Vice President/Chief Financial Officer of Kimco
Realty Corporation, the largest owner of neighborhood and community
shopping centers in the country, with approximately 500 properties
located in 41 states. His responsibilities encompass supervision of all
financial activities of the company including: accounting, tax,
treasury, planning and analysis, investor relations, and operational
processes and routines. Prior to joining Kimco in 1997, Mr. Pappagallo
was the Chief Financial Officer of GE Capital's Commercial Real Estate
Financing business, and held various other financial and business
development positions at GE during his seven years of service. Mr.
Pappagallo's background also includes nine years at the accounting firm
KPMG, LLP, where he served as Senior Manager in the audit group, serving
a variety of clients in industries ranging from financial services to
manufacturing. Mr.Pappagallo is a native of New York City and received
an Accounting degree from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY, in 1981. He
is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Best
Financial Practices Council of NAREIT and serves as an instructor for
courses sponsored by the International Council of Shopping Centers. Profile
