David J. Schramm joined Maxwell Technologies, Inc., as President and Chief Executive Officer in 2007 after spending the bulk of his business career in various senior management and engineering positions with General Motors Company and its primary Tier-I parts supplier, Delphi Automotive Systems and several of their divisions and subsidiaries. More recently, he was President and CEO of EADS North America Defense Test and Services, the U.S. subsidiary of the corporate parent of Airbus, and immediately before that was President and CEO of Arrowhead Products Corp., a supplier of specialty systems to the aerospace and automotive industries. He holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Ind., and a master's degree in management from Stanford University, where he was a Sloan Fellow.
