MATTHEW C. GILMAN is a Senior Portfolio Manager at ABP
Investments U.S., Inc., the US arm of the Dutch civil service
pension fund. He is responsible for the $5 billion portfolio of
publicly traded real estate securities. Mr. Gilman began his
career at Wellsford Residential Properties, a real estate
investment trust (REIT) that was subsequently bought by Equity
Residential. After a brief stint at Genesis Realty Advisors as a
REIT Analyst, Mr. Gilman joined the research department at J.P.
Morgan Investment Management, where he spent nearly four years
covering real estate securities. He joined ABP Investments, U.S.,
Inc., in July 1999. Mr. Gilman is a graduate of Dartmouth College
