MARY ELLEN GENOVESE, Chief Financial Officer of Trimble Navigation
Limited, joined Trimble as Controller of Manufacturing Operations in
December 1992. From 1994 to 1997, she served as Business Unit Controller
for Software and Component Technologies, and Tracking and
Communications. She was appointed Corporate Controller in December 1997,
and Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller in 1998. Ms.
Genovese played a critical leadership role in driving Trimble's cost
reduction programs and was instrumental in negotiating the company's
acquisition of Spectra Precision Group. She was promoted to Chief
Financial Officer in September 2000. Prior to joining Trimble, she was
CFO for Minton Co., a distributing company to the commercial building
market, from 1991 to 1992. Prior to 1991, she worked for 10 years with
General Signal Corp. in several management positions, including European
Financial Controller for the Semiconductor Equipment Group, Director of
Finance, Unit Financial Officer for Semiconductor Systems, and Materials
Manager for Ultratech Stepper. Ms. Genovese is a Certified Public
Accountant and received her BS in Accounting from Fairfield University
