Martin J. Reid – Ibis Technology Corporation (ibis)

MARTIN J. REID joined Ibis Technology Corporation in December 1997 as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director. He has over 25 years' experience in the semiconductor industry. Prior to joining Ibis, Mr. Reid built Alpha Industries into a leading wireless semiconductor manufacturer. He became President in 1985 and CEO in 1991. During his tenure he increased the silicon semiconductor business tenfold and started a new gallium arsinide (GaAs) integrated circuit technology, which became the company's largest growth area. With this new technology he established Alpha as a major supplier to leading worldwide OEM cellular telephone manufacturers. Mr. Reid served on the Board of Directors at Alpha Industries, Inc.; Asahi/America; and Arcom, Inc. He received both his BSEE and MSEM from Northeastern University.
