MARTIN G. HURWITZ is Equity Portfolio Manager for First American Asset
Management. He is the lead member of the small-cap growth and mid-cap
growth teams and is a member of the technology team. Prior to joining
the firm, Mr. Hurwitz was a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager
with American Express Financial Advisors, where he managed small-cap and
mid-cap growth portfolios in mutual funds and separate account assets.
He previously served as a technology analyst at American Express and at
Prescott, Ball and Turben in Chicago. Mr. Hurwitz holds BS, MS and MBA
degrees (as an Alfred P. Sloan Fellow) from the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology. He has also taught several MBA programs. Profile
