MARK L. SANDERS is President and Chief Executive Officer of Pinnacle
Systems, Inc., headquartered in Mountain View, California. Mr. Sanders
joined Pinnacle Systems in January 1990. In 1991, the company won its
first Emmy for pioneering the concept of a video workstation. To date,
Pinnacle Systems has collected six Emmys for its work in leading the
video transition from traditional to computer-based video production.
Mr. Sanders holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
from Cal Polytechnic State University and a Master's degree in Business
Administration from Golden Gate University. After graduating from Cal
Poly in 1966, he served as a U.S. Naval Officer. In 1970 Mr. Sanders
joined Ampex where he held various engineering and marketing positions,
including Vice President and General Manager of the Audio-Video Systems
Division, the Data Systems Division and the Recording Systems Division. Profile
