MARK E. PASQUERILLA is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and
President of Crown American Realty Trust. He directs all
financial and development activities, establishes corporate
policy and provides overall strategic direction for Crown
American. Mr. Pasquerilla joined Crown American as Vice President
and Special Assistant to the President in 1981. He was then named
Executive Vice-President of Operations and oversaw the Controller
and Administration offices, as well as Corporate Communications.
He was also responsible for the Property Management department
that included Regional Mall Operations, Specialized Leasing and
Utilities. He was named President in 1990, Vice Chairman in 1998
and Chairman, CEO and President in 1999. Mr. Pasquerilla
completed a Master of Science degree in International Relations
at the London School of Economics. As a Fulbright-Hays scholar
under the auspices of the European Research Institute, he also
studied International Affairs at the University of Cologne,
Federal Republic of Germany. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree
with honors in Government from Notre Dame University. Mr.
Pasquerilla is a trustee of the International Council of Shopping
Centers (ICSC) and was appointed to serve on that organization's
Political Action Committee in 1991. In addition to his business
interests, Mr. Pasquerilla is currently a member of the Governor
of Pennsylvania's Economic Development Partnership Council; the
Education Committee for the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and
Industry; the Southwestern Pennsylvania Heritage Preservation
Committee and the National Association of Real Estate Investment
Trusts (NAREIT). Profile
