MARK HOLLINGER assumed the Chief Executive Officer responsibilities of
Merix Corporation in September 1999. He joined Merix in 1997 as Chief
Operating Officer and was promoted to President in May 1999. Mr.
Hollinger has been instrumental in the company's recent dramatic
turnaround and current major expansion program to position Merix
Corporation as a leading provider of interconnect solutions. He is
committed to improving shareholder value and to enhancing the company's
competitive position. Mr. Hollinger works with his management team to
develop and implement strategies that support the company's turnaround
and growth plans, while continually improving operations that will
benefit customers as well as employees. His previous experience includes
more than a decade at IBM, where he served in a variety of positions,
first in their Entry Systems division and later in their Personal
Computer Division, rising to PCB Manufacturing Superintendent. Hollinger
also spent three years as Vice President of Operations at Continental
Circuits Corporation of Phoenix. At Continental, Mr. Hollinger increased
both sales revenue and profits significantly, and oversaw a huge capital
expansion program that increased capacity by 40%. Mr. Hollinger holds a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Capital University and an MBA
from Ohio State University. He is a member of the Presidents Council of
