MARK GARRETT is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial
Officer of Documentum, Inc. He is responsible for Documentum's
financial and administrative operations. He rejoined the company
in August 2002 and brings more than 20 years of finance and
accounting experience across software, hardware, and Internet
businesses. Before returning to Documentum, he served as CFO and
Vice President at Marimba, Inc. Prior to joining Marimba, Mr.
Garrett served as CFO and Vice President of Finance for two
Internet startups. He previously served as CFO and Vice President
of Finance and Administration at Documentum for nearly three
years. While at Documentum, he successfully led a $70 million
secondary public offering, implemented a share repurchase
program, and negotiated and closed multiple acquisitions. Prior
to Documentum, he spent more than five years at Cadence Design
Systems, concluding as Vice President of Corporate Financial
Planning and Analysis. He also spent 12 years at IBM Corporation
in several financial roles. Mr. Garrett holds a BA in Accounting
and Marketing from Boston University and an MBA in Organizational
Behavior from Marist College. Profile
