MANUEL J. PEREZ de la Mesa has been Chief Executive Officer of SCP Pool
Corporation (SCP) since May 2001 and has also served as the President of
SCP since February 1999. Prior to joining SCP, Mr. Perez de la Mesa was
Vice President, Distribution Operations for Watsco, Inc., a NYSE-listed
HVAC/R distribution company. He received his Bachelor's degree in
Business Administration in 1977 from Florida International University
and his Master's Business Administration in 1980 from St. John's
