MANFRED GINGL is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of
Tesma International Inc., a position that he has held since February 1,
1995. He is also a member of Tesma's Board of Directors, a position
which he has held since April 27, 1995. Prior to February 1, 1995, Mr.
Gingl served as Managing Director of Blau International Ges m b H. and
as President of Blau Autotec Inc. from June 1993. Immediately prior to
that time, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer (from
December 1981) and Chief Executive Officer (from April 1, 1988) of Magna
International Inc. during which time he coordinated the development of
Magna's strategy of becoming a world-class 'systems' supplier to the
automotive original equipment manufacturers, and established Magna's
operating groups (systems corporations) which are organized on a product
line basis. Mr. Gingl's relationship with Magna dates back to 1965 and
encompasses a variety of senior operating positions. On January 14,
2002, Mr. Gingl was appointed as Vice-Chairman and a member of the Board
