LYNDA J. CALKIN, CFA, joined Westwood Management in 1993 and serves as a
Small Cap Portfolio Manager and a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Calkin was a Vice President and
Portfolio Manager at Hourglass capital Management, Inc., with portfolio
responsibility for aggressive equities, technology, healthcare,
consumer growth and consumer cyclical stocks. She began her investment
career at Mbank in 1983 and in early 1984 was promoted to Assistant Vice
President. Ms. Calkin graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of
Texas at Dallas with a B S in 1980, and received her Masters of Business
Administration in 1983 from Southern Methodist University. She received
her designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst
in 1987. She is a member of the Dallas Association of Investment
analysts and has served on the Board of Directors and as president, Vice
