David L. Dineen, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at Granahan Investment Management, Inc. — GIM — a small-cap equity specialist, where he oversees the firm’s international and global smaller-company strategies. An employee-owned investment boutique founded in 1985, GIM offers seven distinct products covering U.S., international and global small-cap investments. Mr. Dineen has worked in international and global investing for nearly 25 years. Prior to joining GIM in September 2015, he spent nine years at Pinnacle Associates where he was the Senior Portfolio Manager/Analyst solely responsible for an international small-cap strategy. Mr. Dineen was also primarily responsible for portfolio construction of a global strategy. From 1990 to 2005, Mr. Dineen worked with Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he was the primary Portfolio Manager of the Morgan Stanley Select Global Fund from 1998 to 2005. Mr. Dineen also worked with renowned emerging markets investor, Barton Biggs. Mr. Dineen received his MBA in finance and international business from New York University, and his B.S. in finance and marketing from Binghamton University School of Management. Mr. Dineen holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute as well as the New York Society of Securities Analysts.
