Harry Rady is CIO and Portfolio Manager of Rady Asset Management. He is the Senior Portfolio Manager of the Rady Contrarian Long/Short Fund (RADIX), a Lipper Leader, and the Long-Only Rady Opportunistic Fund that was ranked in the top 1% by PSN Informa for the 1,2,3,5, and 15 year periods through June 2009 in the Large Cap Value space. The Rady portfolios have historically generated exceptional downside protection (down capture) and generated alpha (excess returns) in both long and short portfolio holdings, utilizing the firm's unique tactical risk management system. Prior to establishing Rady Asset Management, Harry served as the CIO of a multi-billion dollar financial, investment, and real estate conglomerate. He was also an investment analyst at a quantitative hedge fund. His extensive investment and operational industry knowledge provides a unique perspective to the firm's portfolio management. Harry serves as Chairman of the Investment committee for Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego and is on the Dean's Advisory Board at the Rady School of Management at UCSD.
