LARRY WEICK is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
Syntroleum Corporation. Before starting to work with Syntroleum in 1996,
Mr. Weick spent over 20 years in the electric utility and oil and gas
industries. Prior to Syntroleum, he was employed by Arco Oil & Gas
Company for 12 years in long range planning, budgeting, capital project
review, competitor analysis, and in natural gas marketing business
development. In addition to his direct experience in oil and gas, he was
a co-Founder of a horizontal drilling technology company prior to
joining Arco. He is a graduate of Arco's internal reservoir engineering
school. Mr. Weick's diversified background includes developing and
managing independent power project proposals for natural gas and
electricity utility companies; working as a senior advisor to the
government of Papua New Guinea's Ministry of Minerals and Energy focused
on electric power system economics, power supply planning and
restructuring; and serving in Africa with the Peace Corps building rural
electrification projects and providing training. Mr. Weick graduated
from the University of Nebraska with a BS degree in Electrical
Engineering and has an MS in Engineering Economics from Stanford
University. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer and holds patents in
