LARRY G. KIRK is currently Chief Executive Officer and Chairman
of the Board of Hancock Fabrics, Inc. He graduated from
Mississippi State University in 1968, later studied at the
University of Mississippi and served in the U.S. Army's 1st
Infantry Division in Vietnam from 1969-1970. He joined Hancock in
1971. Mr. Kirk has served as a Director for the company since
1990. His previous responsibilities have included Finance, MIS,
Real Estate and Human Resources and has also directed the
company's financial/investor relations and public information
activities. He serves on the Board's Executive Committee and is a
director of the Bank of Mississippi, the Community Development
Foundation and the Yocona Area Council of the Boy Scouts of
