Timothy E. Hartch is Managing Director and Co-Head of the Domestic Equity Team
at Brown Brothers Harriman and Co. He joined the firm in 1996 and is currently
the co-manager for BBH's large cap Core Select equity portfolios and 1818
Partners, LP, an investment partnership that focuses on information and business
service companies. Prior to that he was a part of the corporate finance
department and worked for five years providing mergers and acquisitions advisory
services to BBH clients and evaluating, negotiating and monitoring investments
for private equity and mezzanine funds managed by BBH. He co-founded 1818
Partners in 2001 and became the co-manager of the Core Select portfolios in
2005. He received an AB degree from Harvard University, where he was elected to
Phi Beta Kappa. He also received an MBA degree from the University of Michigan
Business School and a JD degree from the University of Michigan Law School. Profile

with nine years of investing experience. He earned a BSE degree from Princeton
University. Prior to joining Brown Brothers Harriman in 2005, he was a senior
