KARL F. ARLETH is Chief Executive Officer and President of Teton
Petroleum Company. He gained extensive experience in the former Soviet
Union during his 21-year career with Amoco and BP Amoco. In 1998 he
chaired the Board of the Azerbaijan International Operating Company
(AIOC) for BP Amoco in Baku, Azerbaijan. Concurrently in 1997-1998, he
was President of Amoco Caspian Sea Petroleum Ltd. in Azerbaijan and also
Director of Strategic Planning for Amoco Corporations Worldwide
Exploration and Production Sector in Chicago. From 1992 to 1996 Mr.
Arleth was President of Amoco Poland Ltd. in Warsaw, Poland. Mr. Arleth
attended the University of California at Riverside where he graduated
with a Bachelor's degree in Geology in 1975. He then furthered his
education by completing a Master's degree at San Diego State University
as well as an Executive Developmental Program at the Wharton School at
