JOHN E. MAACK, JR. is the Director of Equities and Team Leader of the
Crabbe Huson Contrarian equity products at Crabbe Huson Group, Inc. He
also co-manages a portion of the large/mid and small capitalization
equity products. Mr. Maack has been with Crabbe Huson since 1988. Prior
to that time, he worked for eight years at S.G. Warburg & Co., for
Domtar, Inc. and for Davis, Skaggs & Co. He earned an MBA and Bachelors
degrees from U.C. Berkeley where he studied Finance, International
