JOHN R. COLSON is President and Chief Executive Officer of Quanta
Services, Inc., a Houston, Texas-based public company (PWR) on the New
York Stock Exchange, an acquisition-oriented telecommunications,
broadband cable TV and electric power specialty contractor, with
revenues in excess of $1.5 billion. Before joining Quanta Services he
was President and owner of PAR Electrical Contractors, Inc., an electric
utility specialty contractor. PAR constructs high-voltage transmission
lines (up to 500,000 volts), distribution lines, substations, and all
related electric utility infrastructure. Mr. Colson has a BS degree in
