JEFFREY BRONCHICK, CFA, is the Chief Investment Officer and Principal of
Reed, Conner & Birdwell, an investment advisory firm founded in Los
Angeles in 1959. He directs the firm's research efforts and manages both
large and small cap portfolios. Mr. Bronchick attended the London School
of Economics and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He
also held investment positions at the First Boston Corp., Bankers Trust,
and Neuberger and Berman. Mr. Bronchick currently writes a weekly
column, 'The Buysider' for the online service, TheStreet.Com. Mr.
Bronchick is a director of the Paige Foundation for research and
treatment of congenital heart defects and participates in several other
charitable ventures. His non-investment pursuits now mainly consist of
maintaining a semblance of a golf game while enjoying his newborn twin
