JAMES PAPPAS founded the Investment Management firm that bears his name
in 1988. He operates from offices in Redding Ridge, Connecticut and
Longboat Key, Florida, serving individuals, pensions and profit-sharing
plans, IRA rollovers, and corporations. He began his career in 1967 as a
registered representative, and his experience includes a partnership in
another investment advisory firm, as well as several years as a floor
trader. He holds a B.S. in Economics, and is a member of the New York
Society of Securities Analysts; the Association for Investment
Management and Research; and the Investment Company Institute. He and
his wife are avid tennis players, collect art and antiques, and are
