JAMES J. LANDY is President and Chief Executive Officer of Hudson Valley
Holdings Corp. He is a veteran banker who has spent the last 27 years
with Hudson Valley Bank, holding various senior and executive management
positions. He was named President and CEO of Hudson Valley Holding Corp.
as well as the bank in October 2000. At this time he was also appointed
as a Director of Hudson Valley Holding Corp.'s Board. Prior to that he
was an Executive Vice President and managed the bank's Strategic Sales
Group. He also served as a member of the Executive Planning Group. He is
a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Manhattan College and the
Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He also earned a Master's of Banking
degree from Louisiana State University. In addition to his
responsibilities at Hudson Valley Bank, Mr. Landy is active in numerous
community activities in Westchester and the Bronx. He presently serves
as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of St. Joseph's Medical Center in
Yonkers, and Director of Sacred Heart Housing Corp., a senior citizen
housing company in Yonkers. Mr. Landy is also Chairman of the Board of
Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers. He is a past President of the
Friendly Sons of St. Patrick in Westchester County. Profile
