JAMES C. HANSBERGER is a Managing Director with Salomon Smith Barney. He
began his financial services career in 1969. In 1975 he joined Loeb,
Rhoades, Inc., a predecessor firm of Salomon Smith Barney. As Managing
Director, he manages assets for approximately 250 affluent families and
is the senior member of The Hansberger Group at Salomon Smith Barney, a
Private Wealth Management Group focused on delivering high-level,
comprehensive, expert solutions to the affluent marketplace where he
integrates his 30 plus years of experience with the unparalleled
resources of Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney. Mr. Hansberger is the
author of Nice Guys Finish Rich and has also been published in many
financial magazines. He was one of 20 'Outstanding Investment Executives
in the U.S.' (Registered Representative magazine, 1981) and was elected
to the Investment Hall of Fame. Mr. Hansberger is a past Guest Lecturer
at the Wharton School of Finance of the University of Pennsylvania, a
