J. JEFFREY DOHSE is Principal and Portfolio Manager for Tempest
Investment Counselors, Inc. He earned his BS degree from Culver-
Stockton College in Canton, Missouri, in 1963 and an MBA from
Loyola University in Chicago in 1971. Mr. Dohse worked in the
investment industry for 15 years prior to joining the firm in
1983. He began his career with American National Bank and Trust
Company in Chicago as a Management Trainee involved in all facets
of bank and trust investments. Mr. Dohse then joined United Bank
of Denver as Investment Officer, managing trust portfolios. He
was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at IntraWest Bank of
Denver, with responsibility for key investment management

H. DAVID LANSDOWNE is President, Chief Executive Officer and
Director of Research at Tempest Investment Counselors, Inc. He
earned both his BS (1969) and his MBA (1972) degrees from the
University of Denver. Mr. Lansdowne was awarded the Chartered
Financial Analyst designation in 1977. He joined the firm in 1983
as Director of Research. Prior to joining Tempest Investment
Counselors, Inc., Mr. Lansdowne was a Vice President and
Portfolio Manager, overseeing pension plans for Fortune 500
companies for United Capital Management, a subsidiary of United
Bank of Denver. He was also Senior Vice President and Director of
Research for Financial Programs Mutual Funds and for their
subsidiary for privately managed accounts, Financial Trust
