JULIE PFEFFER, CFA, has been a member of the Emerging Markets Equity
team at DuPont Capital Management in Wilmington, Delaware since 1998.
Her primary focus is in fundamental research on firms in South Africa,
India, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Middle East, as well as the
natural resources sector in Latin America. Before joining DCM, Ms.
Pfeffer spent three years as a Financial Advisory Services Consultant at
Ernst & Young in Moscow. Prior to that, she worked for two years in
Washington, DC at a firm specializing in industry research on the former
Soviet Union. Ms. Pfeffer is a member of the Financial Analysts of
Philadelphia and the Association for Investment Management and Research.
She earned a BA in Economics and Soviet Studies from Cornell University,
an MA in International Policy Studies from the Monterey Institute of
International Studies, and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of
