William B. Greiner is the Chief Investment Officer for both UMB Asset Management
and UMB Bank, and also serves as the Chief Economist for Scout Investment
Advisors. He has enjoyed a career based entirely in the investment field with
more than 26 years of investment management experience. He is also a CFA
charterholder. In addition, he was named BusinessWeek's 2005 Stock Market
Strategist of the Year and was a runner-up again in 2007. He regularly appears
as a guest on Bloomberg Television and CNBC. He is often quoted in leading
financial publications, such as The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek and
Barron's, regarding his views on the US economy. He produces bi-weekly economic
commentary regarding developments in the US domestic market. These pieces serve
as the foundation for regional and national speaking engagements, including
frequent educational presentations to top asset management executives,
economists, trade analysts and investment advisors. As a result, Mr. Greiner has
