Willem Schilpzand is Co-Portfolio Manager of Alpine Capital Research’s Equity Quality Return strategy and the Multi- Strategy Quality Return (MQR) Fund. His responsibilities include investment idea generation, selection, monitoring and risk management for the firm’s investment strategies. Prior to joining ACR Alpine Capital Research, he earned an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York where he completed the highly regarded Applied Value Investing Program and was nominated for the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. While attending business school, Mr. Schilpzand completed internships with MFS International in London and East Coast Asset Management, giving him valuable exposure to both domestic and international markets. He has additional experience from prior positions with Merrill Lynch and IBM in the U.S. and Europe.
