CHARLES J. KAPLAN is an Economics Professor at St. Joseph's College in
New York and is President of Equity Analytics, Ltd. He is a nationally
recognized expert in technical analysis, financial engineering and the
capital markets and the initial public offering process. Mr. Kaplan has
published two articles on technical analysis and quantitative analysis
and has chapters on technical analysis and derivatives published in two
books by John Wiley & Sons. He frequently appears on CNN as an analyst,
and also as an analyst in publications such as: Investors Business
Daily, The Economist, Money Magazine, Mutual Fund Magazine, Institution
