Kevin H. Miller is a Managing Member of Thorofare Capital, LLC. He began his career in commercial real estate insurance at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in 2002, as part of a team that represented such firms as Maguire Properties, Arden Realty, GE Asset Management, Public Storage and PS Business Parks, and placed risk on more than $15 billion dollars of real estate annually. In 2005 Mr. Miller began work as a Loan Analyst at Cervenka & Lukes Mortgage Corporation (C&L), and was most recently a member of the General Partner's Management Committee of C&L's trust deed fund. He offers experience in several capacities required for successful real estate investment banking, including the performance of market and financial feasibility analysis and working with borrowers, appraisers and title insurers to streamline the funding process. Mr. Miller is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the Men's Guild of the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. Additionally, he sits on the board of directors for the University of Southern California's Marshall Partners, as well as the administrative affairs committee for the Frank D. Lanterman Foundation, a nonprofit organization with a $110 million dollar annual budget for helping children with developmental disabilities such as autism. Mr. Miller graduated from the University of Southern California's School of Letters Arts & Sciences' Economics Program, where he is currently a frequent guest lecturer. Mark K. Talt is a Managing Member of Thorofare Capital, LLC. He began his career in investment management in 1985 with Kidder, Peabody. Mr. Talt brings more than 25 years of investment management experience to the partnership and has a broad range of investment expertise, ranging from personal trust to institutional investing and due diligence. He was most recently a Senior Partner of Covington Capital Management, where he was charged with building out company offerings, along with sales, marketing and operational infrastructure. He previously served as a Senior Partner for Live Oak Capital LLC and as an Executive Vice President of U.S. Trust Company, heading up the institutional department in New York and sales and marketing in Los Angeles. Mr. Talt is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Carver Foundation, and he sits on the investment committee for Sacred Heart High School of La Canada.
