STERLING AUTY, CFA, is a Senior Equity Research Analyst at JPMorgan H&Q, which
he joined in 1997. His research coverage of IT security and communications
software companies leverages his knowledge and broad experience gained in
covering enterprise software and data networking stocks. Prior to JPMorgan H&Q,
he was with Dean Witter and C.L King & Associates. He is a member of the
Association for Investment Management and Research and the New York Society of
Security Analysts. He received a BS from the University of Tampa and an MBA from
