Karl Stubelis has served as athenahealth, Inc.’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since May 2016, as Chief Accounting Officer since July 2014 and also as Treasurer since February 2016. Mr. Stubelis served as the interim Chief Financial Officer from May 2014 to July 2014. Prior to his current role, Mr. Stubelis served as Vice President and Corporate Controller from September 2013 to May 2016. Prior to joining the company, he served as Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at Sapient Corporation, a marketing and consulting company, from September 2009 to September 2013, and as its Director of Financial Operations from November 2004 to September 2009. He also served as the Controller for RSVP Corp., a direct mail company, in 2003; for Corporate Sports Incentives, an incentive rewards company, in 2002; and as the Chief Financial officer at Affinity Partners LLC, a marketing agency, from 1998 to 2001. He served in a variety of financial and operational capacities at Arthur D. Little, Raytheon Company and Sullivan & Associates, P.C.
