George J. Carter is the Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairman of the board of Franklin Street Properties Corp. He founded what would eventually become FSP in 1992. Mr. Carter is responsible for establishing and executing all strategic aspects of the business of FSP and its affiliates, with special emphasis on the evaluation, acquisition and structuring of real estate investments. Mr. Carter has over 35 years of direct experience in real estate investment and in investment banking. He has also held a number of positions in the investment industry, including with Merrill Lynch & Co.; Loeb, Rhoades & Co; and Winthrop Financial. Mr. Carter is a graduate of the University of Miami (B.S.).
